Bopa, originally from Malmö, Sweden, has established herself in the field of visual performance and motion graphics for music. Her art is the result of the fusion of her assorted disciplines – animation, video and VJing. The work stretches from customised visuals for bands, djs and events, both for live performances or premixed DVDs, to running VJ workshops, directing music videos and producing motion graphics. VJ Bopa is based in London (UK) but freelances with clients worldwide.

When performing live, she improvises her visuals to music. She translate sound frequencies and beats with a visual language consisting of form, color, speed and movement. Sound reacting abstract animations get mixed with graphic art and photography. A playful atmosphere is created that spreads from the screens down to the dance floor.

Bopa has performed at super clubs like Ministry of Sound in London and music festivals all over Europe like the Glastonbury Fesitval (UK), Streetparade (Switzerland) and Urban Art Forms (Austria) to name a few.

Bopa will perfom at the The Gohtenburg International Film Fesivals opening party on january 29th at Trädgårn. She will also give an artist presentation on saturday january 29th.
