The embryo of the VJ group Lysbang was conceived during the fall of ‘07 in connection to the club Autobahn that they were hosting in Uppsala. All the material they use is self made and consists from everything between lo-fi stop motion to nature romantic video. The group consists of Magnus Nilsson, Gustav Rydeman and Robert Nyberg. “Lately  our style has been casted as minimalism mixed in a maximalistic way”, they say. “We try to not get stuck in any specific genre, we’re trying to constantly develop our style”. “We do this because we think it’s fun and because both we and the audience are going to get out as much as possible of the clubbing experience”.

Lysbang will participate in the VJ jam at club The Eye on Nefertiti, friday february 5th.
