Linus Winstam aka Bruce Leenus aka Dj Leenus De Milo started dj-ing at home with friends at around 1988. Inspired by hip-hop and punk music they later had their first club Crossover (1991) in a basement in Stockholm’s Old Town. It was a mix of hip-hop, electro, techno, rock, skatepunk, reggae and ska. Later Leenus hooked up with some guys called Kooljunk Society, having the clubs called Soft & F.U.C.K. Around ‘93 he dj:d a lot at Barfota, a bar situated close to Gröna Lund amusement park that had lots of live acts. Same year he had his first resident night at Hanna´s Källare called “Warriors” where he mixed weird mondo-movies with deejaying and played homemade music on his old sampler. Then through the 90´s he played at clubs like Rangus Tangus, Fastfood, Uptown Skankin´, Tranan and
festivals like Hultsfred and Roskilde and the tour Kalas-turnen. He dj:d
in night clubs & art projects in Gothenburg, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Berlin, New York, Belfast, Reykjavik and Istanbul. He is also a member of the rap group “Stockholm Inkasso” which releases records on their own label Gökbot.

During the summer of ‘07 Leenus, Pau-A-Lot & Nasty Nate ran their weekly outdoors-club “Bring The Noise!” at Debaser Slussen in Stockholm. If he would describe his style, it would be “Electro-techno-hip-hop-punkrock!”

Bruce Leenus DJ:s at the pixelVÄRK Grande Finale at Berns 2.35:1 on the 7th of October.
